The Larimer Arts Center, in downtown Palatka, Florida, hosts River City Player's Scarlett-Hill Theater - an intimate venue with a capacity of 71 patrons making it unique and a true live theater experience.

Sara Story
as Rona Lisa Peritti
Sara Story is thrilled to return to the RCP stage in her third role with the theater. She previously appeared as Ginger in Gilligan’s Island and was a Co-Director of The Mousetrap. Sara is also proud to serve on the RCP Board of Trustees, supporting the growth of our local theatre both on and off stage. She has been active in community theatre with recent credits including Clarisse in The Lightning Thief with The Spotlight Performers. A lifelong Palatka native, Sara is deeply committed to her community and passionate about creating spaces where local talent can shine. For more personal information, write to her mother.

Rose Roberts
as Logainne Schwartzandgrubinere
Rose is very excited to be making her River City Players debut! at 19 years old, this marks her first production outside of a school setting. she’s currently studying Musical Theatre at Florida School of the Arts and dreams that one day she would be a big name in the theatre community as well as become a vocal coach! Some of her recent roles onstage include performing in the ensemble of "Something Rotten" and serving as Janet’s understudy in "The Rocky Horror Show". She’s beyond grateful for the chance to bring the delightfully intense Logainne to life!

Anna Guzman
as Marcy Park
After spending the past few years backstage or in the house, Anna is excited to return to the stage in RCP’s Spelling Bee. Anna is grateful for the community of River City Players, and the privilege to play with them. When she’s not in rehearsal, Anna can be found painting with primary children at Morning Star School, or working on the next school project with her dear friend, McKayla Whiteside. If she’s not at school, or in rehearsal, Anna can be found chowing down with her father at Leo’s Fine Sushi, or studying the stars with her friends.

Courteney Phillips
the Director
Courteney is excited to be making her debut at River City Players as the Director for the production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Previously seen in Godspell at St. Giles Presbeterian Church, Courteney is grateful for getting this new opportunity. Some other credits include Miracle Worker (Kate Keller), Play On (Violet), Night of January 16th (Karen Andre), and Southern Fried Funeral (Harlene Frye). She would like to thank her family, friends, and her husband Justin for being her biggest supporters. She would also like to thank Vicki and Greg for mentoring her through this opportunity. Finally, she would like to thank Kevin for giving her the opportunity to direct this amazing production. When she is not on stage, she is teaching middle and high school intensive reading.

Andrew Walwick
Sound and Light Technician Manager
Andrew Walwik is proud to be working on his fifth production with River City Players. He has served as a sound and lighting technician for several shows, including Red Plaid Shirt and Every Christmas Story Ever Told. When not in the theater, Andrew is a dedicated student pilot actively training toward his license. He’s excited to be part of Putnam County Spelling Bee and grateful for the opportunity to help bring each show to life.

Kevin Sharbaugh
as Vice Principal Douglas Panch
After a well spent youth in which he served aboard submarines, a year with a one ring circus, navigation mate on the tall ship Bounty, boat delivery captain and sailing instructor, among other questionable life choices, Kevin ended up in Putnam County, Florida, attended school and became an attorney. He has been involved with community theatre since 2016 as an actor and a director. He performed in Moon over Buffalo, Seasonal Allergies, And Then There Were None, Don’t Dress for Dinner, Death by Golf, the Florida School of the Arts production of 9 to 5, The Musical, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, and Gilligan’s Island: The Musical. He has directed Death by Design, Blithe Spirit, Don’t Dress for Dinner, Election Day, 37 Postcards, Skin Deep, and Red Plaid Shirt. He credits what acting skills he may possess to his father, a Baptist preacher. Kevin himself is a Unitarian who enjoys singing with the First Presbyterian Choir of Palatka on Sunday mornings.

Noah Ogg
as Leaf Koneybear
Born and raised in Keystone Heights Florida, Noah joined his high school drama club in 7th grade and achieved club president his senior year. After graduating high school he then attended Florida School of the Arts where he graduated with his A.S. in theatre. His favorite role was “Jeff” in the play “Lobby Hero” at Florida School of the Arts. Currently working at the Palatka Water Treatment Plant, Noah is excited to enter the world of acting again with his first out of school performance as Leaf Koneybear at the Larimer.​

Karma Burl

Karma is making their debut on the stage after working backstage on several RCP plays. They have always wanted to be an actor and are so excited to be a part of the whole experience. Karma has had a blast preparing for this show and making so many new friends.​​

McKayla Whiteside
Music Director
McKayla is overjoyed to be Music Director for RCP’s production of Spelling Bee! McKayla’s love for the arts started at a young age, in her hometown, Tampa, Florida. She attended Florida School of the Arts, and is now a Paraprofessional and Fine Arts teacher, passionate about providing inclusive artistic opportunities. Some past theatre experiences include: Violet (Violet, City Repertory Theater), 9 to 5 (Violet, Florida School of the Arts), and The Secret Garden (Rose/Assistant Music Director, Florida School of the Arts), to name a few. She is grateful for the RCP community’s support over the years, and hopes you enjoy the show. Good luck, spellers!

Amy Cornwell

Amy is excited to be back with the River City Players, this time on the stage! She has previously worked with RCP as the stage manager for Gilligan's Island the Musical and The Cemetery Club, and co-director of The Mousetrap. She has performed on stage at various theaters in Palatka, Palm Coast, and Daytona, and is excited to take the stage as Olive Ostrovsky!

Cyndi Gill
Stage Manager
Cyndi was peer pressured into volunteering as a stagehand for RCPs production of ‘Gilligan's Island’ by a dear friend and her spark for theater was reignited. She recently served as stage manager for RCPs production of ‘The Mousetrap’ and is thrilled to be working on this musical. Cyndi is a local Pet Care specialist that enjoys volunteering and is looking forward to many more productions with the River City Players.

Liam Neal

Mick Lovin
This is Liam Neal’s first show at River City Players. He has been doing theatre since high school, with his most recent endeavors of performing as Julius Caesar in Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar last spring, as well as playing Rocky in the Rocky Horror Picture Show Shadow Cast last fall. He is very excited and thankful for the welcoming environment here at River City Players. Liam was born in Japan, and moved to Interlachen Florida when he was 5 years old. He attends Florida State University for Theatre and is very appreciative for this opportunity to perform!

As Production Manager Terri is living her best life, mostly because she is not required to sing, dance act or spell. Working with this amazing cast and crew is the icing on the cake and she's just happy to be along for the ride.
