The Larimer Arts Center, in downtown Palatka, Florida, hosts River City Player's Scarlett-Hill Theater - an intimate venue with a capacity of 71 patrons making it unique and a true live theater experience.
Memory Lane, the debut musical from KK Bookfairy Productions, tells the poignant yet uplifting story of an adult day care facility for Alzheimer’s patients that is slated to close due to county budget cuts. The beloved seniors who call it their home away from home now face losing the place where love, laughter and memories live on.
At the heart of the story is Sunny, a rising high school senior reluctantly spending her summer as an intern. Alongside director DaVonda Jones, caregivers rediscovering love, and a spirited group of unforgettable seniors, Sunny learns that while buildings may fall, some things—like love—are truly impossible to forget.
This heartfelt production blends humor, humanity and hope, inviting audiences to reflect on the power of memory, the resilience of community, and the enduring beauty of love.
