The Larimer Arts Center, in downtown Palatka, Florida, hosts River City Player's Scarlett-Hill Theater - an intimate venue with a capacity of 71 patrons making it unique and a true live theater experience.
The Cemetery Club
Three Jewish widows meet once a month for tea before going to visit their husbands' graves. Ida is sweet-tempered and ready to begin a new life. Lucille is a feisty embodiment of the girl who just wants to have fun. Doris is priggish and judgmental, particularly when Sam the butcher enters the scene and shakes things up. A touching and humorous exploration of friendship, loss and finding love again later in life.

Laura Snider
as Ida
Laura is contributing in the role of Ida in her second play with the River City players at the Larimer Arts Center - and indeed her second play as an actress anywhere! Laura would like to encourage everyone to get involved in the theater at rcppalatka.org because despite how busy she is with two adult sons, an intense full-time job, renovations on her house, three big dogs, her work as a Guardian ad Litem, and so much more, she finds her time in the theater takes her away from all that and makes life worth living!
Ellen Hare
as Lucille
Ellen Hare is thrilled to make her debut with River City Players! A N.J. native, she has called Clay County home for the past 34 years. Ellen holds a B.A. in Theater Performance from Stockton University, and locally has performed on stages at ABET, Island Theater and Orange Park Community Theater. Memorable roles include Clairee (Steel Magnolias), Shirley (Ladies at the Alamo) and Marla Faye (Savannah Sipping Society). Ellen would like to thank everyone involved in this production, and especially Vicki for casting her in what is now her newest favorite role! Hugs and appreciation to husband Vince, and her children and grandchildren, for their never-ending love and support!
Debbie Brauneck
as Doris
Debbie was bitten by the "drama vampire" in third grade as Gretel in Hansel and Gretel. She continued with more school plays. She moved to drama classes at her Alma Mater, Northwestern University, and later moved to Florida with her husband. Debbie found RCP and has performed onstage, worked backstage, served as RCP president and treasurer, and had a 2 year improv-type gig in St.Augustine / Orlando as Mrs. Sherlock Holmes with a dinner theater company - all evolving from that original "bite"! She is relishing her present role and hopes it finds your funny bone too!
Chris Barnum
as Sam
This is Chris's second opportunity to perform here with River City Players. His first performance here was as Skipper in Gilligan's Island. Other credits include Tony in the Bodyguard, Jacob Marley in Christmas Carol the Musical, Bunsen in Disney's Newsies, Reggie in Full Monty, Chadwick in Elf the Musical, Snoring man in White Christmas, Pete in Dogfight, Officer Krupke in Westside Story, and Expo in Disney's Tarzan. Chris would like to thank his family for supporting his acting adventure throughout the years. Also, Chris would like to thank Dominic DelBrocco, Executive Artistic Director from The Heneger Theater in Melbourne for use of the costume wardrobe for Sam's character.
Terri Castelli
as Mildred
Terri is finishing her tenth year as a volunteer with RCP as Mildred in The Cemetery Club. Terri is a student at
Florida School of the Arts and a RCP Board Trustee. Her many interests in theatre include acting, set design, light and sound design, directing and writing. She would like to thank her family and friends for always supporting her in adventure in theatre. She is looking forward to an exciting RCP 2025 Season!
Courtney Johnson
as Mildred
Courtney is so excited to return to the stage after a 30 year hiatus! She has spent the last few years teaching and raising the best girls in the whole wide world. She recently moved back to Putnam County and was thrilled to see the River City Players still performing at the Larimer Arts Center. "The talent in this cast is unbelievable and I am honored to be onstage alongside these terrific performers. Thank you to my amazing family and friends for encouraging me to audition for such a moving play. I am so grateful for the opportunity to learn from so many talents surrounding this play.

Dr. Vicki Lowe has her PhD in Research and Evaluation. She recently retired from teaching, but continues to work with students in theatre and film. Dr. Lowe would like to thank the River City Players for allowing her to direct this wonderful show with such a talented cast and crew.

Greg has been working with Dr Lowe in theatre productions for the past twelve years. He has done everything from acting on stage to being backstage, but directing is his favorite. Greg would like to thank the River

Amy Cornwell
Stage Manager
Amy is excited to be a part of this production, as this is her second show with the River City Players. She previously was the Stage Manager for RCP's production of Gilligans Island the Musical, and has been an actor at many other theaters. She would like to thank her friends and family for supporting her theater journey.
